What is a Lego League?
"...Tournaments are mostly local but the prestigious competiton for FLL is at the World Festival in Atlanta, Georgia. This year, it is taking place along with the FRC competition on April 17th-19th 2008. They plan to host teams from all over the world and estimate that 84 teams from 27 countries: |
Australia, Benelux, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Egypt, France, Germany, Haiti, Iceland, Israel, Japan, Jordan, Lithuania, Mexico, Peru, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Scandinavia, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Turkey, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and the United States will participate....." Our Lego Leagues
"In March 2007, we helped start
two Lego Leagues: Foxboro & the Vacaville Boys and Girls Club, and a Lego
League Enrichment Class at Cambridge Elementary. At first, four students in
the Robotics class (Tim Trujio, Adam Korynta, Sam Murphy and Danielle Salvador)
started the Lego League Enrichment Class at Cambridge Elementary. The class
was a trial-run for the school and it was decided that they would participate
