Hello there! I am Thor III, the third in the Thor saga I suppose . Rather than my previous buddies Thor & Thor II, I was built for a frenzy. FIRST frenzy that is.

2004 was the year when FIRST released the game FIRST Frenzy. The game started with robots in a 10 second autonomous period in which they could release one of two balls off "tees" that could release playground balls onto the field. The robots were in charge of herding the balls into corrals where the himan players shot them into goals. The game also included three 2x multiplier 30" balls that could be capped onto goals to double points. Bonus points were given to teams that had robots that could hang on the 10-foot bar at the end of a match.

With the team of Travis Johnson, Salik Syed, Bryan Gray, Walter Johansen, Wayne Johansen, and Shannon Ley, my best features were built. My drive system used an innovative planetary transmission using the CIM and Drill motors (cool, don't you think?). I had a six wheel drive (yes, not a four wheel) and my outer four wheels were 12" and my center wheels were 6". I also used a custom made worm gear transmission as the wench to pull myself up the bar. I also had a 3 foot arm controlled with a window motor to help reach the bar.
