Team 701 plans to participate in the Fembots Scrimmage this Saturday, February 20, 2010 ! We will be leaving school around 7:30 am and expect to be back at 5:00 pm. Come out and enjoy a day practicing with other local teams!

On January 9th, the 2010 FIRST game will be announced. Like other teams across the globe, Team 701 will be huddled in the school library discussing strategy and design right away.
Students please meet in the library at 6:00 am (for donuts)! Kick-off will start at 7:00 am.

Come support the local grade school robotics programs on Nov. 14 during Vacaville's Second FLL Tournament! The Robovikes will be demonstrating robots and mentoring two local schools!
The event is being held at Will C. Wood High School, 9-3pm

Hello! Welcome to Team 701's Homepage!
|
We are the Robovikes, a Robotics team from Vanden High School, located in sunny Fairfield, California, fifty miles east of San Francisco and across from Travis Air Force Base. In fact, our school district is called Travis Unified.
Though we are a small school with only about 1,600 students, we have an active and sought after Robotics program. We started with humble beginnings, our program today being a student's physics project years ago.
Since then, we have progressed into a 30+ student class every school day. We have members join from their freshmen through senior years and have a variety of skills to showcase for it.
Our website is dedicated to all FIRSTers, students that not only work for his/her fellow teammates, but for the rest of the world in spreading the knowledge and meaning of FIRST.
