Inventor is a more advanced 3D CAD program that we use to model our robot. Notable features include:

  • iParts
  • iAssemblies
  • Part Drawings

These features along with the ability to win the Autodesk Inventor award at Nationals ensures that we model the robot with Inventor every year.

During build season, the Inventor team will print drawings of parts with exact dimensions which then get machined out and attached to the robot where needed. They also work heavily with the Mechanical, and Electrical teams to ensure proper placement of all materials.
