Modeling The Robot

We model the robot in 2 different ways. We begin with putting ideas together with everyone working on SketchUp. It's faster and provides a quick idea of what people see as good ways to play the game. Once a general idea of the robot is assembled on SketchUp, the Inventor team will begin work on an Inventor version of the robot and provide drawings for the Mechanical team.
Lot's of ideas should be drawn up before a model is started and a good place to look for ideas is at past pictures of robots, one of the greatest collections of photos of past robots is this album:
