Ronald McDonald House

This year (December 2009), Team 701 helped out the Ronald McDonald House Holiday Party in Sacramento. Here is a guide on what to bring, what to prepare for, and contacts if we plan on attending in upcoming years.

What to Bring

Depending on where are booth is located from time to time, its important to bring the following items:

  • Extension Cord
  • Power Strip Cable
  • Batteries
  • Battery Chargers
  • Promo Stuff (prizes like buttons, vex balls, t-shirts)
  • Robots (and controllers, if 09 bot, bring the router!!)
  • Vex Robots (and controllers)
  • Banner
  • SAFETY GLASSES
  • Toys from a toy drive

What to Prepare For

  • You may be outside so ask the coordinator where the outlets are located and where YOU are located (in 2009, we were in the gazebo area)
  • Bring ENOUGH batteries, and the right kind, fully charges
  • Bring an extension cord, or you may have to get one from them using your drivers license as collateral
  • Bring the ROUTER if necessary
